When you practice reiki you are doing something that will allow you to completely focus on your own health and relaxation. This means you don’t have to go into lots of detail with the reiki practitioner about how or why you are unwell, and this can be a relief to those with mental health issues who don’t like having to explain the reasons behind their condition. It helps with relaxation from the start, and when the reiki practitioner begins their work they are automatically healing the correct areas of your body.

Although reiki is all about healing and opening up the energy channels of your body, it also helps to put you in control, and this is another way to give you peace of mind. If you are feeling overwhelmed or out of control, reiki will allow you to take control back.
